He started
performing professionally with his father Rick (singer) & brother Pete (loop
guitarist/singer/songwriter) in Milwaukee, WI. in The Rick D'Amore band playing weddings, parties, concerts & festivals. Rick was the only singer to headline the first 30 years consecutively at FESTA ITALIANA in Milwaukee, Philip played the last fifteen years of it (traveling back and forth from CA for the last five years of it. Along with a reunion in 2018.)
The band covered everything from 50s to current hits. Highlights were Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Bobby Darin, Louis Prima, Dion & the Belmonts, Tom Jones, & many more. They were known for their 1950's 'Stump the band' bit. Later years, they formed a horn band covering 70s Elvis Presley, Blood Sweat & Tears, Chicago, Joe Cocker, Ides of March, & many more.
For a few years before relocating to CA Philip played in another pro horn band called Pyramid in WI covering fusion & the same horn music above.
Philip later performed as the ZOMBIE drummer "Vic
Deadmore" for the comedic Monte Revolta & His Band of the Living
Dead all over Southern CA. They also sailed the open seas with AMC's Walking Dead
Walker Stalker Cruise alongside Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Ross
Marquand and more. The band covered the likes of The Doors, The Misfits, Squirrel Nut Zippers, The Beatles, Horror Movie themes, Kiss, Metallica, Alice Cooper, The Munsters, Grim Grinning Ghosts, & many more mashups.
He is currently seeking new band or gig opportunities including film & television.
His favorite styles are Horn band (much like Elvis' Aloha from Hawaii concert, Blood Sweat & Tears, etc), 80s hair metal, & any rock & roll, jazz or fusion.
